Feb 9 2008 helped organize and participated in the presidential candidates’ forum hosted by Maryland Muslim Council at ISB.
April 26 Social Networking:
Organized community dinner at MLC,
Gave awards to students who helped in the political candidate’s forum.
May 24 Blood drive with the American Red Cross at Mekkah Learning Center?
June 15 First Annual AACMC Dinner John Leopold, Anne Arundel County Executive was the featured speaker. Gave out Executive Citations for outstanding service to the county.
Sept. food drive over Ramadan, donated the food to Seven Day Adventist church, as well as St. Luke's Episcopal Church of Eastport in Annapolis
Sept. 20 Iftar for political leaders: worked closely with ISA to organize iftar for political leaders, religious leaders and law enforcement
Oct. 26 participated in the GAIN (Greater Annapolis Interfaith Network) festival.
Nov. 1st. 2008 Blood drive with the American Red Cross at Mekkah Learning Center?
Dec. 15: donated a total of 800 pounds of meet to the needy after eid al adha the meat was divided between the Lighthouse Shelter in Annapolis, St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Eastport , Seven Adventist Church, The Muslim Women Shelter in Baltimore as well as a few other individuals.
